Below you will find the five songs for the chidren to practice to for our Christmas performance. Each song has it's own lyric video and at the very bottom is a downloadable lyric booklet should they want to practice listening on their own devices.

In Autumn 2 we will be looking at the following:

- Reading - Cogheart and Who let the Gods Out
- Maths - Multiplication and Division - Fractions
- Science - Space (continued)
- History - Britain in the 18th - 19th Century
- Geography - Coasts
- In Autumn 1 we looked at the following topics:
- English - Between the Two Towers and Hidden Figures
- Reading - Good Thieves and Hidden Figures
- Maths - Place Value - Addition and Subtraction
- Science - Space
- History - Victorians
- Geography - Coasts
You have all received your homework books now. The expectation is to practice spellings weekly, log your reading and complete something from the activities section. The activities can have a loose connection to 'Space' as I am more interested in the children's writing and work rather than it's specific link!
Children must complete their homework and be reading several timesa week to aid with their learning in school.

Times tables
It is really important for the children to know their times tables. Here at Cherry Tree Academy we have found a fun way to learn our times table. Times Table Rockstars! Children can have their own rockstar name, they can listen to rock music as they learn their tables All the children have been given usernames and passwords- if you’re unsure please ask the class teacher.
